Update (8/29). I’ve took a cheaper way: a Pearl Bd-10 pad for bass drum and a couple of Vic Firth Pad. That’s enough, for now. And, then, take a look a this home made kit

I love practice pads and, more, practice kits. For a drummer are the Silent Way To The Heaven’s Practice. My practice kit, as today, includes only a Vic Firth Pad 12, a Vic Firth Pad 6 (for traveling light), and a set of pillows.
I was looking to something more complete for day-by-day home practice, when I can’t go to the school and play the drumset.
I found exactly what i was looking for, and just loved it: Thomas Lang Practice Comprehensive Kit. For references see Thomas Lang (who developed it with Remo) and Jojo Mayer, who plays it
But love is a battlefiled: price is 650$ for Us market (418 €) that’s is reasonable for a great kit. In Europe the price rise up in a insane way: from 899€ (1300$) to a ridicoulous 1200€ (1760$)

Set includes 4 pad surfaces: Coated Mylar, Gum Rubber, Soft Silicone, & hard SBR rubber for 1 13-1/4” and 4 8” sizes. 13-1/4” “Snare” Pad can be removed from stand & used on top of a standard 14” snare drum or as a table top pad. 8” pad(s) can be removed from stand and used as a leg strap pad.
